Smart Dubai has upgraded its ‘Smart Inventory’ project in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to enhance current inventory management system and render them paperless and more efficient, all the while utilising advanced technologies and smart solutions to save time.

RTA has entitled car rental firms to add digital platforms and smart application activity to their business. The step aims to empower those companies to expand the scope of their services in line with Dubai Government’s drive to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, today launched the Dubai Cyber Index, an initiative aimed at supporting the efforts of Dubai’s government entities to ensure the highest standards of cybersecurity.

The application acts as a one-stop shop for city services, allowing users to access more than 120 services across 10 key sectors, namely, security and justice, travel, residency, driving, health, education, housing, Islam, donations, and public services.

Smart Dubai announced it has on boarded a new partner in the joint Retail Sector Data Project, launched in late 2019 in partnership with Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (Dubai Economy) and other semi-government and private entities.

The Strategic Affairs Council had adopted the UAE PASS policy in the Emirate of Dubai as of May 1, 2020, as one of the Dubai Councils’ initiatives. The decision was motivated by UAE PASS’s potential to drive development across the government service ecosystem
