The Department of Economic Development has released a circular today ( 6th April 2020) clarifying the work arrangement for commercial establishments and specifically suppliers of building materials & A/Cs to construction and contracting sectors during the extended National Disinfection Programme.
The merchants fined for tampering with prices included nine pharmacies in Nad Al Hamar, Al Mizhar, Nad Hessa, Sheikh Zayed Road, Hor Al Anz, A Twar, Al Qusais, Umm Suqaim and Al Warqa, and five others included two supermarkets and suppliers, said a statement issued by Dubai Economy on Sunday.
Dubai Economy has reiterated that the stock of food and non-food commodities across outlets in Dubai is sufficient to meet the requirements of residents in the near to longer term. Union Coop, has a stock worth more than AED 500 million to face the present situation.
