Brigadier Saif Mahir Al Mazroui, Director of the General Traffic Department, confirmed that Dubai Police has intensified its efforts to counter the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19), by taking many measures and decisions that accordance with  programs and plans of the government to address the global epidemic, in order to preserve the safety of society.

He pointed out that Dubai Police took many precautionary and preventive measures in accordance with highest standards to preserve the health and safety of individuals, including the strong field presence in all of the emirate's streets to regulate the movement, and send many awareness messages to urge community members to adhere to homes, as well as launch awareness programs for individuals. The society has the necessary measures to protect themselves, their family members and their children, in addition to its support for the efforts made in the health and social fields in cooperation with partners, and its participation in organizing the clearing and sterilization of roads and public squares in cooperation with the concerned authorities in the emirate, In addition to being around the clock to supervise and audit exit permits during the movement restriction period in the emirate, stressing that all the measures that were taken were in the interest and health of the community.

Brigadier Saif Al Mazrouei pointed out that the great efforts made by the first defense men, including doctors, nurses, police personnel and partners, were exceptional and showed their high level of craftsmanship in the face of the Corona virus, praising the public’s cooperation in terms of adherence to the movement, prevention and safety measures to face the epidemic and prevent the spread of infection .
