ZERO Fines, warnings & shutdown in spite of 710 inspections by DED CCCP Division on 2nd May - Dubai Economy
The Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection( CCCP) Division of The Department of Economic Development, Dubai ( Dubai Economy - DED ) conducted 710 Inspections across the emirate of Dubai. In a tweet, Dubai Economy announced that all 710 businesses were fully compliant and adhering to all rules and regulations.
Dubai Economy also emphasized that High level of awareness, tendency to follow compliance & positive attitude among Businesses resulted in 100% compliance and ZERO fines/warnings/shutdown.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, CEO of CCCP, said: “The decrease in complaints reflects the improvement in the commercial transaction environment in the emirate and the commitment of merchants to applying sound standards in documenting agreement terms
Lootah added: “The commercial sector in Dubai is characterized by flexibility, which makes commercial complaints resolution a necessary service, enabling the parties involved to reach an amicable settlement that preserves their respective rights and to continue their business without having to approach the judiciary.”
